We are a family run nursery situated in Alltami, Flintshire. We are a detached property in a secluded safe and secure location surrounded by fields, forests, and a beautiful nature reserve.
We believe in children having a freedom of choice, and understand they need space to learn, develop and grow and reach their full potential, and make this our ethos of everything we do.
With this in mind we have developed a rich educational setting with 10 themed rooms that ensure children are not in one space for long periods of time. These include a sensory room, construction, small world, cooking, messy play, real world home corner, arts and crafts, a log cabin, and a caravan plus much more.
We are additionally proud of the outdoor area opportunities the children have access to, including three garden areas, a large playing field and a close by nature reserve that the children regularly access, to be physical and learn through nature and real life experiences
We are currently working towards the curiosity approach accreditation.
The curiosity approach is a modern education style driven by active learning using natural resources and loose parts and has been proved to benefit children’s natural curiosity and imaginative and develop a passion for future learning, as well as a love of nature.
